Bailey looks to her mother from a hospital bed. In the weeks since Bailey was diagnosed, she and Nichole have spent almost as much time in the hospital as out. Chemotherapy treatments mean spending up to a week in the hospital. Nichole says that in-between treatments, they end up in the hospital overnight at least once because of fever, and they have to travel back and forth for testing. With as many as 5 more rounds of chemotherapy possible, Nichole and Bailey’s fight against cancer will not be over soon enough. |
